Project Overview

This project involved the erection and stringing of a 132 kV overhead transmission line connecting Jahloot to Quriat, a critical link in strengthening Oman’s transmission grid. The scope included complete tower erection, conductor stringing, and associated works, ensuring reliable power supply to the region.


Scope of Work

  • Tower Erection: Installation of lattice towers with precision alignment and foundation checks.

  • Conductor Stringing: Stringing, sagging, and clipping of conductors using advanced tensioner and puller equipment.

  • Insulator & Hardware Installation: Fixing of insulator strings and line hardware according to OETC standards.

  • Testing & Commissioning Support: Ensured readiness of the line for integration into the live grid.
